Hi! I've noticed that some nouns and verbs can have two different forms when conjugated.

"det" in short answers - Module 9

In the section I Butiken, there is a dialogue question: "Har ni några vita byxor i storlek M?", and the reply is: "Nej, det har vi inte. " Since byxor is plural, why isn't the reply: "Nej, dem har vi inte."?

On Page 2 exercise #2 you included blåa jeans, randiga byxor, and mörkgröna shorts as examples of the indefinite plural forms, but in the definite plural section that followed you included randiga byxorna but did not include jeans or shorts as examples. Am I correct that the definite plural forms would be blåa jeansen, and mörkgröna shortsen?

Preteritum or perfekt

So if you’re telling a story about something that happened or talking about memories is there any reason you would use perfekt or would it always be preteritum? Since everything you’ll be saying is about a specific point in time or set of actions. I think I need to go over this more.

Sentences with expressions in Module 13

For module 13, I have a question about the homework. For question 7, the directions are to write one sentence with each phrase (I norra Sverige, På vintern, I vinter ...). Since the module is about the weather, will each phrase contain a sentence about the weather? Or will some be about weather and others on a different topic so long as it has to do with the starting phrase?
